621 Gallery is excited to welcome proposals for our new exhibition season. Building on the past few years success we are seeking Local, US-based and international artists to submit to our open call. We are accepting solo, duo, collectives, and curatorial proposals that will create discussions and debate in Florida’s State Capital. 621 Gallery is the oldest and largest contemporary arts venue in the region. Our remit is to bring exciting and testing exhibitions that engage a broad public spectrum in significant conversations of the day. As such we strongly encourage applications from underrepresented groups and curatorially driven exhibits. We look to support artists’ professional development through creation and facilitation of public and educational programming, interaction with the local art community and engagement with diverse audiences. We urge emerging and established artists to apply with no limitations on medium or style. The gallery offers a main space that can be sectioned into two separate exhibition spaces (if needed) and the Nan Boynton Memorial Gallery that can be utilized for one-person shows or smaller group exhibitions.

621 Gallery Exhibition Committee reviews all applications submitted for exhibition. The committee meets once a year in the spring to select artists for the next year’s exhibition season. The season will run September 2020 – June 2021.
