Description

The Village Theatre Art Gallery is a Town-owned and operated, art gallery in a charming community 30 miles east of San Francisco. The gallery is located within the historical Village Theatre. The gallery is searching for artists to depict the beauty they have found in their own "back yard" of California. Open to all media and interpretations, literal and representational works, as well as abstract works depicting landscapes, stil-lifes, wildlife, and/or domestic life. We want to see life through the eyes of an artist. For many, this pandemic has offered a chance to slow down and be present and take in the views right in their own backyard.
The gallery is located right downtown and provides a reprieve from the daily bustle of life. This exhibition will offer cash prizes to the first, second, and third place artists reflected as ($100/$75/$50). The exhibit will enjoy a long run from Sept.-Dec 2020. offering ample time to view the art safely.
