Description

Artists Working in Education, Inc. (AWE) in collaboration with Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin
(FAEW) seeks an artist to create a public mural to be printed on vinyl and installed on the exterior
windows of the FAEW facility located at 1700 W. Fond du Lac Avenue, Milwaukee, WI.

The commissioned mural, window vinyl installation, will be created in the artist’s preferred medium and
then digitally mastered to be printed, with respect to layout, on to vinyl and installed. A variety of artistic
approaches and mediums are welcome.

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all artists 18 years or older. Ideal candidates will have a history of producing large scale, high
quality art; executed with a clear vision rooted in storytelling. Artists with experience in Adobe Suite and/or
digital art are highly encouraged to apply due to the adaptability of vinyl mural installations. Preference
given to artists with a strong connection to the Lindsey Heights Neighborhood in Milwaukee, WI.
Preference given to artists living in the city of Milwaukee.
