Summer Exhibition Open Call

Description

Project Gallery V hosts four seasonal online shows a year, each with a guest juror who selects artists' works exclusively from the open call.

We are currently accepting submissions for our Summer 2021 online exhibition curated by Samantha Rippner!

Samantha Rippner is the Associate Director of the Neiman Center for Print Studies at Columbia University. As an independent curator, she co-curated the exhibitions Pulled in Brooklyn for the International Print Center New York in 2019 and Word as Image: Highlights from the Marmor Collection for The Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University in 2015. From 1999-2014, Rippner worked as a curator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, organizing a number of exhibitions, including Rhythms of Modern Life: British Prints 1914-1939 (with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston) and The Prints of Vija Celmins.

The title of the show will emerge via accepted works, there is no theme for entry. Artists will be notified of acceptance by June 8th via email. All submissions will be considered for the summer exhibition and for our Instagram Friday highlights.

The online exhibition will run from June 15-July 15th, 2021

Once you've completed your application, please pay the $15 submission fee through Paypal to projectgalleryv@gmail.com.

Artists are encouraged to upload up to 5 artworks. All submissions are due Friday, May 28th by 11:59pm.
