About the Venue

Welcome to Botanica Grove, a vibrant art and wellness center located in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn. Founded by Darren Singer in 2024, we are dedicated to cultivating a dynamic community where art serves as a generator for healing.

Our mission is to explore and celebrate art as a means of self-discovery and healing. At Botanica Grove, we host a diverse array of exhibitions, workshops, and events that embrace a wide range of artistic mediums and disciplines. Our curated shows invite artists to push the boundaries of their creativity, engaging with themes that explore the interplay of color fields, density, and transformations. We provide a platform for both emerging and established artists, encouraging participation from those working in any medium: painting, sculpture, photography, digital media, and performance.

Our community is built on the belief that art can transmit healing and foster connections. We invite you to join us in this journey, whether by visiting our exhibitions, participating in our events, or contributing your artistic vision. At Botanica Grove, we are more than just an art gallery; we are a sanctuary for creativity, expression, and holistic well-being.

Are you ready for an exhibition in New York? Apply to Space in Transit-- Liminal Spaces. Share your unique interpretation of the theme with any medium of your choice. Some ideas of liminal spaces can be physical or emotional. Portals are liminal spaces, such as doors or hallways, or tunnels. Modes of transportation include cars, trains, planes, and boats. Similarly, times in life can serve as liminal spaces, a period of waiting or moving. Abstract/ representational/ or in-between works are welcome in any medium.

OPENING DAY CEREMONY: October 2nd 2025 6 to 8

SHOW CLOSING: October 24th 2025

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

DEADLINE: September 15th

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Four Works per artist

Includes Title, medium, dimensions, year, price

All mediums accepted

FEES:

SALE OF WORK IS AN 80/20 SPLIT IN FAVOR OF THE ARTIST

Accepted artists will be notified on September 18th.

Artists are responsible for the delivery of their artwork to the gallery and from the gallery within a week of the exhibition opening and closing.
