Open call for group show in Sweet Lorraine Gallery at Treasure Island (TI) Studios

1 + 1 = 3 is a show that seeks works concerned with the idea of meaning-making. Pieces that explore how archives, indexes, and systems of information help to influence our definitions of ‘things’, and where they fall short.
Think the relationship of the real to the represented; drawing and sculpture.
We encourage you to submit all mediums, including but not limited to: installation, sculpture, drawing, multi-media, diagrams, indexes, found material, studies, iterations.

Eligibility and Requirements
+ Strong preference for NYC artists who can be present for installation and opening
+ Open to the public
+ Emerging and established artists welcome
+ You may submit up to 5 images, either of multiple works or a singular piece
+ Statement optional, must be under 150 words
+ Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed

Exhibition Details and Dates
+ Application Deadline: March 10, 2026

+ Artists are responsible for the delivery and pickup of their work
+ Installation will be coordinated collaboratively
+ Show Opening: April 3, 2026
+ Show Closing: the last week of April
+ Once accepted, I will be in touch with the install and deinstall dates
