This exhibition will spotlight 45 outstanding paintings that demonstrate the variety of subjects, styles, and techniques possible in the acrylic medium, and the diversity and skill of artists working in acrylic today. This biennial exhibition is made possible by an endowment from the International Society of Acrylic Painters upon the closure of their organization.
2026 Selections and Awards Juror: Dan Simoneau, AWS, ISAP Master, NWS, SDWS, WHS (Watercolor USA)
Awards: Best of Show/ISP Legacy Award $2,000; First Place $1,000; Second Place $750; Third Place $500; Honorable Mentions will receive sponsored prizes.
Adult artists (age 18+) are invited to enter up to 5 images; only 1 may be selected. Entry fee: $35 for first image, $5 for each additional image (up to 5 total).
Entries must be the submitting artist's own original work, completed since January 1, 2024, have a visible surface/image created with a minimum of 80% acrylic, be ready to hang, less than 40" wide (about 1 meter) and meet the Rules of Entry. This is a fine art exhibition open to original paintings only. AI generated or digital images, including retouched prints or photographs, will not be accepted.
