Brown Sugar Literary Magazine is curating works for a gallery and open mic fundraiser event that will take place on August 28th, 2026 in Brooklyn, NY. Artists will be able to price their own work for the gallery.

We are looking for visual art pieces that throb with urgency and flirt with chaos. Pieces that spark, sting, confess, and combust. Visual art pieces that keep us alive and raw.

Explore high energy in all its shades: the heat of sexual freedom , the tenderness of vulnerability, the red-hot pulse of rage, the dizzying rise of a life lived at full voltage.
