Description

The Bower Studio is hosting monthly art shows as part of Amherst Arts Night Plus (also known as First Thursday). We are seeking artists interested in solo-exhibitions and/or our juried group exhibitions. Each group show is themed and open to any artist in the Connecticut River Valley region. Priority will be given to emerging artists in Western Massachusetts and to artists from underrepresented groups (queer, people of color, immigrant, etc.) However all artists are strongly encouraged to apply. Accepted works will be displayed in the front room of the shop at 534 Main St in Amherst for the entire month.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- If your work has been shown in a previous show, you may still submit to any future show
- Art must be no larger than 24" x 24" for group shows. Solo show works must fit in approx. 8 ft wide x 4 ft high hanging area.
- Must be suitable for hanging (please use picture wire when possible)
- Must be related to the theme (group shows only)
