Art Show International announces their Annual “Open” Art Competition. All visual artists from around the world are encouraged to submit their best artworks on the theme for inclusion in the Art Show International’s s February 2021 exhibition. All types of art styles may be submitted, including both 2D and 3D works, painting, sculpture, digital, printmaking, fiber, photography, graphic, mixed media, as well as experimental and installation works.
Theme
The theme of this art competition is OPEN. Artists are free to apply their own interpretation in representing the overall theme. Natural and artificial subject matters, as well as representational and abstract concepts, in any media, will be considered. See below for more details on submission guidelines.

The three categories for consideration are:
1. Painting
2. Photography & Digital
3. Sculpture & 3D Installation
Deadline
The deadline for submission is November 30th, 2020.
Awards
Winning artworks from five artists will be displayed on Art Show International's gallery walls. Winners will receive widespread global recognition through extensive promotion via social media, monthly newsletters, and in the news media. At the conclusion of the Annual Art Show, the winning artworks will be archived and considered for future publication as full page print edition in leading art magazines.
Depending on the number and quality of artworks submitted, the following prizes will be considered:
First Prize (Overall)
Merit Prize (Painting)
Merit Prize (Photography & Digital)
Merit Prize (Sculpture & 3D Installation)
Honorable Mention (Overall)
Fees
The entry fee for each artwork submission is $10, with no more than 10 submissions allowed for each artist.

ANIMALS ART THEME

The current theme is “Animals.” All visual artists from around the world are encouraged to submit their best artworks relating to the themes for inclusion in the Art Show International’s December 2020 – January 2021 exhibitions. Winners will receive widespread worldwide recognition.
All types of art styles may be submitted, including all types of 2D and 3D works, photography / graphic / digital images, as well as experimental and installation works.

Cash prizes of up to $1,000 will be given out to five winners. The grant money will be unrestricted and may be used in any manner by the recipient artists.
