Art Submissions Wanted For 2021 VIRTUAL Auction
Artists For World Peace is a Connecticut-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit striving to provide equity and resources to our communities across CT, Tanzania, and on Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. For Mother’s Day of 2021, we will be holding a virtual PEACE WALL OF LOVE auction, continuing our multi-year 6 x 6 MOVEMENT, with all proceeds going towards bringing the Native American population of Rosebud Reservation free eye clinics, warm clothing, and other necessities. We are seeking compassionate, domestic and international artists interested in donating canvases to this annual juried show.
Participation in this event is 1) a great opportunity for exposure for yourself and/or organization (we have featured 2500+ artists in our shows, and our 2020 virtual auction drew in thousands of visitors), 2) a chance to be considered for future live AFWP gallery shows across the U.S., and 3) a way to spread kindness for creatives who may want to assist in humanitarian efforts without jeopardizing their financial standing.
Submissions are typically 6 inch x 6 inch canvases, although this year we are more flexible regarding canvas dimensions, if you would like to donate a that work you have already made. All mediums are welcome, though remember these will be shipped and must persevere through mailing. Contentwise, please express your subjective interpretation of what LOVE means. No depictions of violence.
For large groups, we can drop-ship you up to 100 6”x6” canvases. For organizations, we are happy to advertise your logo and name, and are open to further discussion as to how we can collaborate to best promote you during the event.
CANVAS SUBMISSIONS DUE APRIL 15.
