Life during quarantine was simultaneously ordinary and extraordinary, and while the extraordinary is obvious the ordinary parts of life can offer a poetic beauty if examined closely. Ordinary Lives invites artists to examine the ordinary and create artworks that celebrate it. The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri encourages exploration and interpretation of this idea in a way that is both unique and personal to each artist. Works of all media encouraged (printmaking, painting, photography, digital, installation, sculpture, etc.)
