Description

The City of Santa Clarita is seeking artwork for consideration for an upcoming exhibit at Newhall Community Center.
The exhibit “Around the World Holiday Traditions” will showcase the artistic depictions of different cultural holiday celebrations and traditions that fall between November 1 and January 7. Examples include Las Posadas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Christmas (Santa), Chinese New Year, Dia de Los Muertos, Ramadan, and more. Applicants may submit artworks in the medium of their choosing as long as it is WIRED. The City of Santa Clarita utilizes a special wiring system that requires all artworks to be brought WIRED in order to safely hang. This includes but is not limited to paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, and textiles.

Exhibition Closes/Art Pickup: January 7, 2021 at 10am
