Join us for our 2nd Annual Pine and Palm Holiday Market + Exhibition December, 2022! The 2-day shopping event will be filled with original art and wares from local artist and makers. This is a great opportunity to “Sip, Shop and Celebrate!” the holidays with your friends and family. This year we have expanded our event to include a juried exhibition to run from December 9 -31st with a reception on December 15th. There will be awards given. 

EXHIBIT OVERVIEW

The Coral Springs Museum of Art invites artists ages 18 and up to submit applications for exhibition. Artwork submitted may be any medium including: photography, video, works on paper, sculptural installations, fine art crafts, textiles, Literary etc. This exhibit will juried and curated by museum staff and professional working artists/curators. 

EXHIBITION

On December 9-10, 2022 we will host our second annual Pine and Palm market. We are expanding this event to include a month long exhibition that includes the visual and literary arts. The theme of the exhibition is "Pine and Palm". With the influx of people migrating to Florida consider the intersection of North and South in your work. 

Visual - any medium; installation on small scale only. Large wall art accepted. 

Literary - Short stories, poems etc. accepted work will be enlarged. Handwritten is encouraged. 

Work must be original and must have been made in the last 18 months.

No reproductions accepted. All Art forms encouraged however some artforms may not be able to be shown based on things such as size, space etc.

You may enter up to two pieces  per person per submission.

Literal translations such as landscapes will be considered however we are looking for unique interpretations. 

All work submitted must be accompanied by a 100-150 word statement describing your inspiration for your work. 

Selected artist will be required to complete and exhibition agreement prior to drop off. It will be sent via email to you to complete online only.  

JUROR: 

This exhibit will be blind juried by a curator and/or art professional and museum staff. This allows artists' work to evaluated purely on merit rather than resume content, leveling the playing field for all artists.
Only work selected by the juror will be displayed in the gallery.
