Description

The theme of this competition includes the art of commonplace objects that are either natural, such as food, flowers, plants, rocks, shells, and even dead animals, or man-made, such as books, vases, jewelry, coins, pipes, etc. Representational and abstract ideas based broadly on the theme, in any media, will be considered. TERAVARNA announces their ANIMAL Art Competition. Artists are free to apply their own interpretation as long as works are in line with the main theme. All media considered – painting, sculpture, digital, printmaking, fiber, photography, graphic, mixed media, installation. Cash prizes of $3,500 will be given to up to 120+ artists: First, Runner-Up, Merit, and Talent Prize winners. Certificates of Recognition will be given to all, including Honorable Mention and Finalist awards. All winners will be displayed permanently on our gallery walls.
