Coinciding with Black History Month, All Street is curating a group exhibition entitled chaos theory: the spectrum of black abstraction that will be on view in February, 2024. The exhibition will take place at our East Village location (77 East Third Street, New York, NY, 10003). In line with All Street’s mission of inclusivity and accessibility in the art world, we are conducting an open call from December 12th through January 7th. We are seeking art of all mediums that interrogates abstraction and blackness. This call is only open to artists who identify as black. Throughout the month of the exhibition there will be various evenings with community programming such as artist talks, screenings, interactive installations, and more. We welcome proposals for nightly programming, as well.
