Have you been daydreaming about showing your work at Tyger Tyger Gallery? Well, our first juried open call is here, and we're so excited about it. We're looking for works on paper. That's it, that's the only guideline.

Accepted submissions will either be 1.) curated into a spring 2024 group exhibition of works on paper on view from April 19-May 26, 2024 at Tyger Tyger Gallery OR 2.) curated into our new prints/works on paper/books/crafts shop within the gallery on a 6-month initial consignment with the possibility of an extension. All of the work in our gallery will be displayed on our website for viewing/inquiries/purchase. Selected works will be featured on Tyger Tyger’s Artsy site and social media.

Now, here's what you need to know if your work is accepted:
-The artist commission is 50% of the retail price.
-All artwork must be shipped ready to hang, which includes the following options: 1.) framed, 2.) unframed with a hanging system and hanging instructions that the artist includes with the artwork, 3.) unframed, in which case we will decide how to best display it. Works curated into the shop may be hung framed or unframed, displayed in a protective sleeve on shelves or in bins, or placed into our curated flat files.
-Each artist will be responsible for shipping the work to the gallery at the beginning of their consignment contract and must assume all shipping costs and liability for their work both to and from the gallery. Accepted artwork must be shipped within the timeframe laid out or it may not be included.
-A contractual agreement will be sent to each artist, which will need to be signed digitally by the artist before shipment of work.
-There is a submission fee of $20 to cover a portion of the considerable labor and cost to produce an exhibition of this scope: this includes curation, artist relations, print and online advertising, a reception, professional installation, collector outreach, and digital image management, to name just a few.
