Description

Each issue of BLA magazine is organized around a theme: TO WHOM BELONG THE IMAGES? Can be interpreted as the interpellation between those who act and protagonize the image and the power over their production, circulation, appropriation, and reproduction. In the open call, the question aims to reflect critically from the different reading of the subject.

We invite philosophers, researchers, artists, curators, and different agents of the cultural, artistic and philosophical circuit to participate in the first publication of BLA magazine.

Text in essay format (1500 words max.) as well as visual and graphic works are welcome. In the case of visual and graphic works, these much include images in JPG format (300dpi resolution) and a technical file with the following elements:

Year
Technique
Dimensions
A brief statement on the work (100 words max.) is optional.
