Original works in any medium, on or of paper, traditional or experimental, including photographs, qualify. Work must have been completed within the last two years and not previously exhibited in an INT’L or Americas 2000 exhibition. Cash and purchase awards. Solo show for Best of Show. Juror: Michael Reedy, Ann Arbor, MI. Entry fee: 2 entries $30; additional entries $5 each. Maximum 5 entries per artist. Exhibition dates: January 9 – February 20, 2025.
$2500 in Cash and Purchase Awards: five Merit Awards and one Best of Show. Best of Show earns a future solo exhibition and an invitation to the Best of the Best exhibit.
Entries will be judged from a high resolution digital image and up to 2 detail images. Files must be in jpg format, minimum of 300 ppi at approximately 8 x 10 inches. Name files as follows: A_titleofwork. jpg, B_titleofwork.jpg, etc. Abbreviate as needed on the file name, but use complete title on entry form. Submit images, non-refundable entry fee, and completed entry form by email or postal mail. Email images and entry form to nac@minotstateu.edu; with the subject line “INT’L Paperworks 2025 Entry.” Or mail images on labeled CD, DVD or flash storage along with fee and printed entry form to INT’L Paperworks, Northwest Arts Center, Minot State University, 500 University Avenue West, Minot, North Dakota 58707. Storage will not be returned.
Juror Bio: Michael Reedy currently lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan and teaches drawing at Eastern Michigan University’s School of Art & Design. His work has been included in over 250 national and international exhibitions and can be viewed in numerous private and institutional collections including Clatsop Community College, Minot State University, Shippensburg University, Penn College of Technology, and the Hoffman Trust National Collection in association with the San Diego Art Institute. His work has been featured in over 40 books and journals including Hi-Fructose, Juxtapoze, Spectrum, and Fresh Paint. Notable recent creative activities include a two-person exhibition at 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco and solo exhibitions at Helikon Gallery in Denver, The Scarab Club in Detroit, Arch Enemy Arts in Philadelphia, Revolution Gallery in Buffalo NY, and BeinArt Gallery in Brunswick, Australia. His work was also recently featured in Create Magazine, Creative Quarterly, The Moleskine Project Vol. 2 (Spoke Art), and Manifest Gallery’s 15th International Drawing Annual.
