Calling Artists for Art Forum SF: Art, Philosophy, Theology, Religion

The Bay Area

Description

Calling artists and scholars to present their art practice at a forum, ideally for those who have an interest and background in both contemporary art and theology, faith, religion, and/or philosophy. In conjunction with the GTU's Center for the Arts and Religion in Berkeley, CA, and other arts organizations, there will be a third annual Art Forum for artists or scholars to present their art practice in dialogue with topics in philosophy, theology, and/or religion. Date: date TBD in January, Location: TBD, but likely will be held at the Doug Adams Gallery. The goal of these forums is to inspire, where art and aesthetics are a starting point from which to discuss what it means to be human and the human condition in conjunction with affairs in the world, and ultimately to cultivate a community with these common interests and for those with backgrounds in the Christian faith to find community in the Bay Area.
