I invite you to join us in this reflective journey at Jubilee Artisans for a two-week-long art exhibition. Come explore where your own foundations and fundamentals lie.

Timeline
Launching Call for Entry: October 19, 2024
Google Form Contact Submission: Upon receiving notice of call, complete ASAP to receive prompt notice of updates (26 weeks until opening reception)
Email images of artwork: October 19, 2024-February 15, 2025 (17 weeks since launch/ 9 weeks until opening reception)
“Save the Date” Postcards featuring artwork:
February 22, 2025 (8 weeks until opening reception)
March 8, 2025 (6 weeks until opening reception)
March 22, 2025 (4 weeks until opening reception)
April 5, 2025 (2 weeks until opening reception)
Note: Postcards will feature artwork that is completed by these dates
Deadline for Artwork submission: April 5, 2025 by 12pm (24 weeks since launch/ 2 weeks until opening reception )
Note: Google Form submission with labels, artist statements, and hanging instructions
Selection Process: April 5-April 12, 2025 (2 weeks until opening reception)
Confirmation of Artwork: April 12, 2025 (1 week until open reception)
Note: Artists will receive an email noting which pieces are selected
Deadline for Artwork drop off: April 16, 2025 between 12:30-6:30pm (3 days until opening reception)
Note: Artists will sign Artwork Drop off Agreement form upon arrival
Artwork Install: April 17-April 19, 2025
Note: Volunteers are well appreciated!
Opening Reception: April 19, 2025 from 5-8pm
Duration of Exhibit: April 19, 2025-May 3, 2025
Deadline for Artwork Pickup: May 9, 2025 between 12:30-6:30pm

FAQ’s
Number of Pieces
Artists are welcome to submit up to 6 pieces for this show that will undergo review between myself and Christy Andrews. Upon selection, all pieces must arrive at Jubilee Artisans ready to hang and packaged accordingly by the drop off date on April 16, 2025 between 12:30-6:30pm.

Deinstall
Artwork not sold will need to be recovered no later than May 9, 2025 between 12:30-6:30pm. Until artists have recovered artwork, all pieces will be carefully stored in Christy Andrews’ office.

Artwork Sales
All artists will recover 50% of sales for their artwork with the remaining 50% dedicated towards Jubilee Artisans. Total sales of artwork will be administered on the 15th of the following month of exhibition electronically through Square.

Selection Process
Medium - Canvas painting, Photography, Drawing, Digital Prints, Mix media
Eligibility - Artists who are members of CAGNI, Artists local to DeKalb County and surrounding areas, Artists local to Chicago suburbs, Students enrolled in the Undergraduate and Graduate Visual Arts Program at Kishwaukee College, Students enrolled in the Undergraduate and Graduate Visual Arts Program at Northern Illinois University

Statement of Interest
Artwork entered in this show will be subject to 50% of sales dedicated towards Jubilee Artisans with the remaining 50% made directly to the artist. Total sales made will be administered to artists on the 15th of the following month electronically through Square. Submitting an entry into this exhibition implies an agreement with all conditions set forth including: efficiently packaging artwork to prevent damages, promptly completing Google Forms, promptly retrieving artwork not sold, and maintaining adequate communication with the Curator.
