The Sculpture Center and Puerto-Rican-born, Chicago-based artist Edra Soto invite residents of the Cuyahoga County to share visual stories in an exciting community project, La Distancia, that weaves together personal and collective stories of migration and immigration to amplify community voices and celebrate the deep and growing roots.

Open Submission Period: February 4, 2025 – March 31, 2025
Who Can Submit: Any resident of Cuyahoga County
Image Quality: Color and black and white photos are accepted. High resolution is not required.

Whether it’s an old snapshot of your childhood home, a treasured family gathering, a keepsake tied to your heritage, or anything that represents the intersection of migration, immigration and home, we'd love to see it! Your photo may be selected to be included in Edra Soto's exhibition at The Sculpture Center.
