Navigating GPSR & EU Regulations: A Practical Guide for Artists and Makers
02039042600 |
Session Overview
With the General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR) coming into effect in December 2024, artists and makers selling within the EU and Northern Ireland need to ensure they understand the best practices for shipping and compliance. Changes in regulations may impact international sales, and it is important for artists to be prepared.
This online masterclass will focus on best practice advice for selling and shipping artwork internationally. Speakers will share insights on how artists can navigate shipping processes, customs paperwork, and logistical considerations when selling to buyers abroad.
Speakers:
Sara Ingleby-MacKenzie – Sculptor
Sara is an internationally recognised sculptor and recipient of The President’s Commendation Medal for Sculpture at the XIVth Florence Biennale (2023), as well as a Henry Moore Foundation Scholarship. She has experience shipping her work internationally, including to Europe and the USA, and will share practical insights, challenges, and solutions from her own experience.
