3rd Coast Biennial 2025

K Space Contemporary, a non-profit arts organization in Corpus Christi, TX, announces a call to artists for the Third Coast Biennial, a national juried exhibition of innovative contemporary art.

• Open to all artists age 18+ residing in the US.
• Accepting all visual arts media (except Performance Art): drawing, printmaking, painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, fiber, video, mixed media/other.
• Entry Fee: $40 for up to 3 entries, $5 per each additional entry.
• Entry Deadline: June 14, 2025 at 11:59 pm (midnight).
• Exhibition Dates Aug. 1 through Sept. 19, 2025.

About the Juror: Leandra Urrutia, an object maker and storyteller based in Corpus Christi, Texas, has earned numerous honors and prestigious awards for her work. Her sculpture appears in the Lark Book Series 500 Figures in Clay and 500 Ceramic Sculptures. A co-founder of two ceramic collectives, Urrutia has taught at Memphis College of Art and Mississippi Valley State University and now leads the Ceramic program at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.

July 19: All Accepted works must be delivered to K Space Contemporary. Works must arrive between July 9 and July 19.
July 9 to July 19, Wed-Sat. 11 am to 5 pm, Sun. 12 to 4 pm: Receiving Hand-Delivered works
August 1 (Friday), 6:00 to 10:00 pm: Exhibition Opening with ArtWalk
Exhibition Dates Aug. 1 through Sept. 19, 2025.
Sept. 5, 6 to 10 pm: ArtWalk
Sept. 19: Last day of exhibition
Sept. 20, 11am-5pm, Sept. 21, 12 to 4pm: Pick Up Hand-Delivered works
Sept. 24: Begin returning shipped works
