Once again, the Artists’ Guild of Spartanburg seeks to highlight the work of outstanding BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) artists in the Southeast region through their upcoming Juneteenth juried art exhibition, WOVEN.
Artists in all mediums are invited to apply for "Woven," an art exhibition celebrating the work of quilters, weavers, and visual artists from the Southeast. This event highlights visual storytelling and traditions of the African Diaspora, aiming to expand intergenerational narratives of BIPOC experiences and creative practices
Eligibility: Artists residing in or from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Accepted works will be exhibited in the Artists’ Guild Gallery within the Chapman Cultural Center in Spartanburg from June 2nd - 27th.
* Our 2025 juror is Rosetta Nesbitt of Spartanburg, SC.
* The submission deadline is Friday, May 23rd, by 11 p.m.
