Description

Opale Art invites visual artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to take part in Echoes of Lynch, an online group exhibition paying tribute to the world of David Lynch.
This is not a call exclusively for portraits or direct depictions of Lynch or his characters. Instead, we are looking for artworks that echo his universe — through their atmosphere, themes, or aesthetics.

You might explore dreams and the subconscious, memory and duality, domestic tension, strange encounters, or the eerie beauty of suburban landscapes. Your work may touch on themes such as violence and innocence, surrealism, time loops, identity, decay, or ambiguity — all of which are central to Lynch’s cinematic and visual language.

All techniques and mediums are welcome: painting, photography, sculpture, installation, collage, drawing, textile art, mixed media… Whether your practice is abstract, figurative or conceptual, if your work resonates with the Lynchian spirit, it has a place in this exhibition.
