On behalf of the Fairfax250 Commission, ArtsFairfax is seeking visual artists and graphic designers to create the artwork for the exterior wrap of the 37’-long RV that will appear at hundreds of events throughout the County in commemoration of the 250th signing of the Declaration of Independence. The events are designed to inspire resident and visitor pride in Fairfax County and the RV will be a focal piece for these events, and a rolling billboard as it traverses the County.

Artwork should celebrate the life and cultures of Fairfax County. Artists are welcome to use Fairfax history for inspiration, but are encouraged to celebrate present-day Fairfax, including:

The diversity of the County’s population & cultures
The County’s natural resources and active lifestyle
Neighborhoods and County landmarks
