About the Competition
RAISE YOUR ZINE! is an annual photography competition organized by THE DOCKS, a cultural association specializing in photographic publishing and promoting emerging authors. The festival serves as a platform to support the development of editorial projects by talented photographers from around the world.
Prizes
1st Prize: The winning project will be published by The Docks Publishing in 2026, providing professional publication and international distribution.
Honorable Mention: Free consultation with The Docks Publishing team.
Eligibility & Submission Guidelines
Open to photographers of all nationalities, genders, and ages. All photographic genres and techniques are accepted, including digital, analog, photomontage, and experimental approaches. The competition is open theme, welcoming both individual artists and collectives.
Project Requirements:
15-50 digital images (JPG format, sRGB, max 2MB per file, 2000px max on longest side)
Brief project synopsis (max 500 characters)
Artist biography (max 500 characters)
No watermarks or identifying marks allowed
