October is Banned Book Month, a vibrant time for East End Artists to come together in a shared commitment to resist censorship in literature.

We invite artists to explore and interpret the powerful theme of BANNED BOOKS in an upcoming multi-location art exhibition. This event is in collaboration with the East Hampton, Springs, and Montauk Public Libraries. All mediums are welcome.

Events are being planned and will be scheduled throughout the month, ending with a Banned Book conversation at LTV Studios, in Wainscott, NY, on October 26, 2025. This PROJECT is still in formation with plenty of exciting news on the horizon.

There is a sponsorship/donation fee of $60 per artist. This is to help offset the costs of this multi-exhibition.

Each artist can enter up to ten images of works via Dropbox (or similar) with a link sent to info@themannixproject.com.
Image files need to contain information---artist, title, size.
Every entered artist immediately becomes a sponsor for this exhibition.
*Created for each library will be a takeaway of the exhibition, which will include a map listing the artists at each location, plus a calendar of events.
