Irene Rinta was born with an artistic mind and grew up with a big family of engineers, chemists, and artists. Influenced by art and science, she pursued a career in architecture and engineering, achieving success in California. In 2007, she moved to Santa Barbara. Irene loves working with kids. While raising her daughter, she founded a nonprofit business teaching architecture and engineering to kids. When the pandemic hit in 2019, she got involved in the art community and took several art lessons with local and online professional artists. In her artwork, you will see her playfulness and love for kids, as well as her understanding of color and movement in space, both learned from architecture and engineering. It’s a comeback from her childhood. She was born to do art. Within a year, her first-ever painting, “Half Under Water,” was sold, succeeded by 5 more, which were purchased by a collector in Carmel: “The Blue Key, “Pivot Points,” Happy Architect, “Eye See Motion,” and “Picasso”.
